ANA BODEA
Ana is a Romanian actress and classically trained ballet dancer based in Bucharest. She spent four years studying at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow before graduating with a degree in Acting from the I.L. Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest in 2022. Her film work includes the role of ‘Claudia’ in Alexandru Belc’s METRONOM, which premiered in Un Certain Regard at Cannes and won the Best Director Prize. Ana became widely known in Romania for playing the leading role of ‘Lia Călin’ across four seasons of the television drama LIA – SOTIA SOTULUI MEU. She later joined the cast of the television series ANA, MI-AI FOST SCRISA IN ADN as ‘Alina’. Alongside her screen career, Ana continues to work in theatre, with recent productions including MAITREYI. Most recently, she appeared as ‘Amalia’ in Cristian Mungiu’s feature film FJORD, which won the Palme d’Or at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
