NATALIA BUI

Natalia began her artistic journey as a dancer, training intensively from a young age. This early foundation allowed her to develop a unique creative voice, which naturally led her to explore various forms of storytelling. Her work is characterised by a focus on indirect narrative, inviting audiences to interpret her stories in their own way and fostering dialogue and connection. Drawing on her mixed heritage, Natalia has long been interested in the role of language as a key to cultural exchange. She pursued studies in applied linguistics at the University of Warsaw while also training with the contemporary and jazz dance company Sway. She later moved to London to immerse herself in the film industry, studying behind-the-camera roles and gaining experience in areas such as movement direction. After several years observing and learning about the demands and expressive potential of on-camera performance, Natalia was cast in the feature film MINGHUN opposite Marcin Dorociński, marking her debut on the big screen. Directed by Jan P. Matuszyński, known for his acclaimed films LEAVE NO TRACES and THE LAST FAMILY, the film explores themes of grief, cross-cultural understanding, and the search for meaning after loss.
