PYRY KÄHKÖNEN
Pyry is one of the most intriguing new talents to have emerged from Finland in recent times. His first international self-tape landed him a significant role in the third series of the hit Netflix show VIKINGS: VALHALLA as ‘Harald Harefoot’. His first leading role in a movie was in Miia Tervo's film THE MISSILE, in which he portrayed a fighter pilot. Other notable previous work includes: the role of ‘Eeli Aromaa’ in FAST; the crime series MANNI: PASILAN MYRKKY; as ‘Konsta’ in the drama series NURSES; and ADULTS. Pyry graduated from the Theatre Academy of Finland in 2020 and following that he has also performed in musicals such as: KINKY BOOTS (2020); MATILDA (2021); and ACTION HERO (2022). He is an excellent singer and plays multiple instruments. He can next be seen in the psychological thriller series KOSTO directed by Matti Kinnunen, in which he plays the role of ‘Jesse Halme’. He can also be seen playing the lead role in the musical drama ANNA MINUN RAKASTAA ENEMMÄN, which is based on a popular Finnish novel and is directed by Oskari Sipola.
