"Le Vent tourne" wins the Variety Piazza Grande Award at Locarno

"Le Vent tourne", starring Nuno Lopes, has won the prestigious Variety Piazza Grande Award at this year’s Locarno festival in Switzerland. Directed by Bettina Oberli, the film premiered on Locarno’s famous Piazza Grande to an audience of 8,000 people. The Variety Piazza Grande Award is awarded annually by a jury of critics to recognise a film that stands out for both its artistic qualities, and its international potential. The film was also nominated for the Prix du Public UBS.
