LILI WALTERS

 

Lili was born on the 21st of June 1991 in Budapest. Her father was a half-Irish & half-Welsh ceramist, and her mother is a contemporary and classical dancer with Hungarian Jewish roots. She started acting and singing at an early age, and made her first appearance on the big screen in the romantic comedy NO MAN’S ISLAND directed by Ferenc Török. After that she got the lead role in two Hungarian feature films: COMRADE DRAKULICH by Márk Bodzsár, which earned Lili the Best Actress In A Feature Film Award from Hungarian Film Week for her portrayal of ‘Magyar Mária’; and the comedy feature GARBAGE THEORY which was directed by Ákos Badits. She has also appeared in numerous television shows and short films including: VIENNA BLOOD for the BBC; the role of ‘Daniella Nagy’ in FBI INTERNATIONAL for CBS; STATION HEADS by Stu Gamble; WHEN I KILLED THE CAT by Mansour Forouzesh; and as ‘Imogen’ in THE INVITATION by Jessica M. Thompson. In addition to working on-screen as an actor, Lili also attends a university course in theatre direction.
