LILI WALTERS
Lili is a bilingual English-Hungarian actress currently based in Budapest. Her first appearance on the big screen was in the surrealistic comedy NO MAN’S ISLAND, directed by Ferenc Török. She then played the lead role in two Hungarian feature films: COMRADE DRAKULICH, directed by Márk Bodzsár, which earned her the Best Actress in a Feature Film Award from Hungarian Film Week for her portrayal of ‘Magyar Mária’; and the comedy feature GARBAGE THEORY, directed by Ákos Badits. She has appeared in numerous television shows and short films in Hungary, including international productions such as VIENNA BLOOD, FBI: INTERNATIONAL, THE RUMOUR, and THE INVITATION. Audiences can also see her in the supporting role of ‘Ivanna’ in PONIES for Peacock. In addition to her on-screen work, Lili is also trained as a theatre director, with a particular interest in experimental approaches to theatre-making and performance.
