MAKAR ZAPOROZHSKIY
As one of Russia's most promising actors, Makar is perhaps best known to international audiences for playing the key role of ‘Nikolai’ in RED SPARROW, a feature film starring Jennifer Lawrence, and Joel Edgerton. Other work includes: playing ‘Ryabov’ in MATA HARI; and leading roles in the Russian films 22 MINUTES, and DARK WORLD: EQUILIBRIUM. Makar was in Netflix’s highly successful series THE METHOD, as ‘Sasha’; and played the lead role of ‘Denis’ in Sergey Bystritskiy’s Russian boxing drama PROSPEKT OBORONY; and in the feature film ELEVEN SILENT MEN directed by Aleksey Pimanov.
