MARGITA GOSHEVA
Multi-talented Margita Gosheva is a Bulgarian actress based out of Sofia. She has played leading roles in the most acclaimed Bulgarian films of recent years. In THE LESSON, which was directed by Kristina Grozeva & Petar Valchanov, Margita played a young teacher looking for a thief in her classroom so that she can teach him a lesson about right and wrong. Her performance in the film was awarded at international film festivals in France, Brazil, India, Romania, Lithuania, and Bulgaria. She followed this up with the lead role of ‘Julia Staykova’ in GLORY, which was also directed by Kristina Grozeva & Petar Valchanov. She played the role of ‘Miglena’ in Konstantin Bojanov’s LIGHT THEREAFTER, and ‘Sestrata’ in THE INVESTIGATION by Iglika Triffonova. Margita is an acclaimed theatre actress who has starred in numerous national and international stage productions. Her recent work includes: the television drama KADE E MAGI; the role of ‘Iglika’ in the Bulgarian series BLUE BIRDS ISLAND; and ‘Kalina’ in THE FATHER which won the Crystal Globe award for Best Film at Karlovy Vary. She can next be seen in the feature film TRIUMPH which reunites her once again with directors Kristina Grozeva & Petar Valchanov.
