Walt grew up in the north of the Netherlands, where he was very actively involved with the local Youth Theatre. Having graduated from High School in 2018, he began to study at the Noorderpoort Art and Multimedia College of Acting. In early 2019, he was cast as ‘Nick’, a leading role in the popular Dutch television series BRUGKLAS, which was directed by Raymond Grimbergen and Nicolien Kool. This led to more acting work, including: ONZE STRAAT; and LIEVE MAMA, in which he played the role of ‘Thom Möhring’; and the short films WADOEJE; BARRIER directed by Niels Bourgonje; and U:47700 by Erasmo Parra. Walt played the titular role in the television series MAUS, which was directed by Chris de Krijger and Sven Peetoom. He can also be seen in the viral music video SMOORVERLIEFD, by the Dutch artist Snelle. Walt played the role of ‘Justin Merriman’ in the second season of the Nordic thriller series ARCTIC CIRCLE. He starred opposite Emily Blunt in a new Western drama for Amazon Studios and the BBC entitled THE ENGLISH, which is written and directed by Hugo Blick. Walt starred as the antagonist ‘Kyle’ opposite Kiefer Sutherland and Charles Dance in the new CBS and Paramount+ show RABBIT HOLE, which was written and directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra. He can be seen in the comedy feature film KRAZY HOUSE opposite Nick Frost and Alicia Silverstone, which was directed by Dutch duo Steffen Haars and Flip Van der Kuil, and which premiered at Sundance.
