JAAKKO OHTONEN
Jaakko is a Finnish actor, based in Helsinki. Since graduating from the University of Theatre Arts in Tampere, he has worked steadily on multiple film & television projects, as well as on stage. Jaakko’s onscreen roles include: Aku Louhimies’s acclaimed epic war drama THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER; J-P Siili’s HOTEL SWAN; he played the part of ‘Mökkimies’ in the television series SUGARHONEYBABY; ‘Kasimir Lindholm ’ in the medical drama series SYKE; and ‘Aleksei’ in SUNNUNTAILOUNAS, which was directed by Atte Järvinen. Jaakko played the character of ‘MakeX’ in the comedy series HASBEEN; and played the role of ‘Aaro Leppihalme’ in Mika Ronkainen’s crime drama ALL THE SINS. Jaakko’s most recent work includes the recurring role of ‘Wolland’ in the series THE LAST KINGDOM; and the hugely successful MGM/NETFLIX series VIKINGS:VALHALLA, in which Jaakko plays the part of ‘Johan’.
