“A Herdade” starring Albano Jerónimo in competition at Venice & TIFF

“A Herdade” starring Albano Jerónimo has been announced for this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, and is in competition at the 76th Venice International Film Festival. Albano plays the lead role of ‘João Fernandes’ in the drama, which is directed by Tiago Guedes.

Synopsis: “The chronicle of a Portuguese family that owns one of the largest estates in Europe, on the south bank of the River Tagus. The Domain delves deeply into the secrets of their homestead, portraying the historical, political, economic and social life of Portugal, since the 1940's to these days.”

Toronto International Film Festival will take place from the 5th - 15th of September. Venice International Film Festival will take place from the 28th of August to the 7th of September.
