New Netflix thriller THE WOODS starring Agnieszka Grochowska will be released on June 12th on the platform. The show is based on the novel of the same name by Harlen Coban. The story follows Paweł Kopiński, a prosecutor whose young sister went missing in the woods 25 years earlier.

Synopsis: Pawel is still struggling with the loss all these years later, but he finds himself having hope that she could still be alive when the body of a young boy who had also vanished is suddenly discovered. As the series goes on, family secrets will begin to spill out, causing Pawel to question everything as his life is ripped apart in front of his own eyes.

THE WOODS also stars Grzegorz Damiecki (Taxing Love), Adam Wietrzynski (Pilsudski), and Jacek Koman (Children of Men).
