Polish actress Agnieszka Grochowska is acknowledged as one of the finest actresses of her generation. Her most prominent roles include ‘Klara Keller’ in the Oscar-winner, IN DARKNESS, ‘Danuta Walesa’ in WALESA: MAN OF HOPE and ‘Nina Andreeva’ in CHILD 44. She won Best Actress for her portrayal of ‘Maria’ in UPPERDOG and she recently played ‘Ileana’ in THE HOPE ROOMS, a short film by Sam Yates, starring Andrew Scott and Ciaran Hinds. She played Elle Fanning’s mother in Max Minghella’s debut feature film, TEEN SPIRIT, which recently premiered at Toronto International Film Festival. Most recently, Agnieszka starred in the 8-part thriller series SANCTUARY opposite Matthew Modine.
