F1: The Movie Oscar Nominations

Congratulations to Kim Bodnia and the entire F1 team on the film’s four Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Film Editing, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer alongside Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Chad Oman and Lewis Hamilton, F1: The Movie brings a striking level of authenticity to the world of Formula 1.  The film features an outstanding ensemble cast led by Brad Pitt, with Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies and Kim Bodnia among the principal players. Kim’s nuanced performance as ‘Kaspar Molinski’, team principal of the fictional APXGP outfit, has been a key part of the film’s dramatic backbone, anchoring the story of a veteran driver’s return to a struggling team.  Since its release in summer 2025, F1: The Movie has grossed over $630 million dollars worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing auto racing film of all time and a landmark success for Apple Studios.
