SAKU TAITTONEN
Saku was born and raised in the countryside of Finland, in a small town called Kuortane. His breakthrough performance as an actor came in 2024 when he portrayed the lead role of Pertti “Nipa” Neumann in the film LEVOTON TUHKIMO (Restless Cinderella). Directed by Mari Rantasila, this biopic about the reknowned Finnish band DINGO and its lead singer-songwriter Pertti Neumann showcased Saku’s acting prowess in a leading role, and was hugely successful at the Finnish box office. His other previous roles include: portraying the part of ‘Elias Karo’ in crime thriller HELSINKI SYNDROME; the short film PÄIVÄ ILMAN KIELTOA; and the television series HÖYHENSARJA for Warner Brothers Finland. Beyond acting, Saku is a talented musician, and he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Acting at the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts in Helsinki.
