Although his breakthrough role came as ‘Frank’ in the Nicolas Winding Refn's film PUSHER, Kim is known throughout the English-speaking world for his brilliant portrayal of ‘Martin Rohde’ in the hit television drama THE BRIDGE. Some of his most notable performances include: the role of ‘Lars’ in Susanne Bier’s IN A BETTER WORLD - which won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film; ROSEWATER directed by Jon Stewart, as ‘Johnny’ in TRUTH ABOUT MEN, which was directed by Nikolaj Arcel; NIGHTWATCH; teaming up again with Director Susanne Bier for LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED; SERENA with Bradley Cooper; THE NAME OF THE GAME; Nicolas Winding Refn’s BLEEDER; NIGHT OF THE LOTUS; THE LIGHT THEREAFTER by Konstantin Bojanov; THE VIOLIN PLAYER; and ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF NOAH PIUGATTUK which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival. Kim played the role of ‘Abbot’ in Netflix’s adaptation of THE LETTER FOR THE KING; and the role of ‘Elkiar’ in the crime thriller NEFARIOUS, which was directed by Michael O’Bernicia. He has received widespread international acclaim - and was nominated for a BAFTA - for his compelling performance as ‘Konstantin’ in all four series of the Emmy-winning hit drama KILLING EVE. He played the role of ‘Vesemir’ on the second series of Netflix’s hugely popular adaptation of THE WITCHER. Kim can next be seen in the feature film biopic YOUNG WOMAN AND THE SEA, which is directed by Joachim Rønning, and he will reunite with director & writer Ole Bornedal on his upcoming feature film sequel to NIGHTWATCH.
